This bridge/ tremolo is top notch. The heavy brass block really gives some serious sustain. For under $40 it’s a no brainer. Fit and finish was perfect for my custom made guitar that is made to vintage specs.

I bought a Squire Cyclone that came with a potmetal block that was so soft, you couldn't remove the strings without a hammer and a thin nail. Seriously. Although I only needed to replace the block, I figured, for the price, buy the entire bridge just to check it out.The bridge plate with the bevel is fine but nothing special. A bit smoother on the bevel than the Squire original. The Musiclilly saddles are fine too, although they're chrome plated which seems unnecessary. But the block is gorgeous. Solid brass and as nice as my Callaham blocks. In fact the polishing is more extensive on the Musiclilly block, even though nobody sees it. The only thing that could be better in a way that would make a difference, is the length of the screws that fasten the block. They're ok, but even the Squire screws are longer.Note that the thread on the arm Musiclilly supplies is different from the thread on the OEM Squire arm so the blocks are interchangable but the arms are not.

I really like that Musiclily strat bridges come with 3 full sets of height adjustment screws - 6mm, 8mm and 10mm. You can use the ones that work best for your setup (with the least protrusion out of the saddle) and keep the rest for spares. Great quality for the money too, even if the extra screws weren't included.

I decided to upgrade the OEM tremolo in my well loved 2003 MIM Stratocaster. I already installed a great set up Fralin Vintage Hot pups and wanted to see if I could improve the tone even further with a better tone block versus the brittle sounding zinc block that comes OEM. So I chose to upgrade the whole system at once since the price point was more than reasonable. I did keep my OEM saddles as I thought they were better quality and aesthetically I liked the FENDER stamping on them. I also kept all the OEM screws, springs, and trem claw for the same reason…they were way better quality than what was purchased. Basically what I installed was the base plate and the brass tone block. The item was a direct fit and I didn’t have any issues using my OEM hardware either.Once everything was in place and I restrung the guitar and tuned, I noticed a very nice warm sustain, but absolutely true to the Strat tone. The tremolo plays smoothly and I didn’t notice any issues with binding or rough spots on the knife edges. A great upgrade for the price…I’ll be doing this to a Korean Squire as well.

Bought for a guitar build I was doing around an extremely light Strat body, at 385g of brass bridge block this bridge gave all the weight it needed for tone and sustain just where it's needed.Sounds great, looks great and the price was really inexpensive.

It is a hefty piece of brass that gives great resonance to the sound, and will give you a lifetime of enjoyment with it's sturdy construction.My knockoff import strat had a small narrower chunk of metal, and was a real pain to pass the strings thru; it didn't align properly with the backplate and made it a pain to change the strings without removing the backplate.This solved all of those problems and gave me a little more for sound.The tremolo arm is very nicely shaped, and comes with white and black covers (keep yours preciously if you need cream, or order new ones, because it is sadly not included).The saddles are easy to adjust with the included Allen key, and the intonation was easy to make and has kept well.If you don't know how to weld the ground to the spring holder, how to adjust saddle height and intonate the guitar then ask a Luthier to do it for you, or if you have a friend that is a handyman and will watch a couple you tube videos on the subject while sharing refreshments with you... I am sure the two of you can figure it out for the most part, if not all of it. Just remember that you are not to screw completely the two screws that hold the spring retainer clip.This is my best advice to you if you want to enjoy this bridge as much as I do:1st- Look at the dimensions and make sure the size of this bridge's tremolo block fits your existing cavity.2nd- Look at everything and take pictures before and as you dismantle your saddles, your bridge and your tremolo block retainer, in order to put it back together the same way with this magnificently cheap of a deal, but not cheap in construction bridge.I am happily recommending this bridge for all the above reasons.

Gutes Tremolo für Vintage/Asien Strats, lediglich die Saitenreiter wirken billig, habe ich noch zusätzlich getauscht. Aber Grundplatte und massiver Messingblock sind ok. Hab es auf einer Kramer Baretta Special montiert, passt und macht den Ton etwas runder als das billige Original. Preis/Leistung passt.

安ギターの代表格とも言える、セルダーのストラトタイプにポン付けできました。なんの加工もなくドライバー一本で交換できたのでよかったです。トレモロブロックがかなり分厚くなるので、低音がはっきりと聞こえるようになり、音の伸びも良くなったと感じます。

I bought this for a Bullet Strat that I'm severely modding. I replaced the saddles with some modern, brass Musiclily saddles because I prefer those; the vintage style that this bridge comes with are fine, however - just a preference. Anyway, this bridge is a great direct replacement, and the short, brass block is fantastic and a guaranteed fit in a thin-body Bullet Strat. As with any bridge, check your string spacing before ordering. Also, never put a short block in a standard thickness Strat; the springs will touch the surface of the trem cavity.
