The semi-permeable shield is absorbed into the paws, allowing perspiration to escape through the toes. Made from 100% safe, non-toxic natural waxes and easy to apply! Spread a light coating of Musher's Secret on the pads and rub in. Mushers will absorb in minutes (rub a little on your hands, when it is absorbed you will know it is absorbed into the pads as well). We use an old rug near the door for application purposes. In very harsh cold or snowy conditions be sure to rub up in between the pads to prevent snowballing. For year round use, 1-2 times a weeks is sufficient. During extreme weather additional applications may be necessary. Frequency may depend on length of your walk and weather conditions.

Did not really take the sap off the dig made a messy mush of her fur and had to wash three or four times with additional shampoo . Easier to cut the tree down

i purchased Mushers wax to apply to my dogs fee to prevent ice balls between her toes. I tried booties , but they were hard to keep on. I applied the wax at -25 degrees below 0 and about 6 inches of snow. Although it didn't totally stop snow from clogging her feet she didn't stop and chew on them. I would recommend the product.

This product works extremely well on my German Shepherd Dogs paws. Keeps them supple and prevents cracking particularly during winter. I use it all the time and no paw problems.

Used this for a raw pad on a dog who obviously stepped on something, got something stuck in her toes, or got a stinger and she licked so much the pad got bloody raw and she started limping. I put this on for several days straight and gave a chance for the pad to heal. It does leave a print residue on surfaces, so put it on outside and let it soak in before you bring the dog inside. I didn't have to worry about toxicity if she licked and ingested like I would have with any other kind of treatment.
