Plates are as pictured. They were perfect for my daughters first birthday. We did small appetizers, nothing too heavy, as it was an early in the day party. We had small meatballs that needed two plates because the plates aren't that thick and it needed some reinforcement. The overall size of the plates were perfect though.

Beautiful pattern! But you wouldn't dare pick one up with food on it, food would slide right off. Couldn't use them at all.

I bought these plates believing the larger of the plates was more of a dinner size plate, way too small, and flimsy. The dessert plates were the right size. Design was pretty.
