Two things immediately jumped out at me when I unpacked this electric slicer: its light weight (all plastic) and the AC wall adapter that provide power. I knew right then this could not possibly have much power, and true to my suspicions it doesn't. I tried a small potato and the machine bogged down several time trying to devour the spud. The blades I chose (to make traditional hash browns) did not take a very big bite, so the hash browns were pretty small. That is not to say the small cut has no application, but sometimes I want a larger cut for other dishes. There is not larger blade and I assume that is because the machine is not strong enough to cut a larger bite.The next concern is that when I was finished and tried to remove the cutting tumbler, there was nothing real handy to grab to turn the tumbler and release it. Sure, there were two small ears I suppose you were supposed to use for that purpose, but they did not provide much torque. After fiddling with it for about 30 to 45 seconds, I managed to pop the tumbler loose, but was not impressed at all with the process. I have to compare this with an old hand crank shredder I inherited from my parents that is all metal and heavy duty. This little plastic item is not even in the same universe as my hand crank shredder. I really had high hopes. It is slow and underpowered and not aggressive at all when cutting, slicing, shredding, etc. I had to apply quite a lot of downward force to shred the potato, and the downward force simultaneously bogged the machine down. This should have been on the shelf in the toy department at big blue.

Works really well. Super shredability, very versatile with tons of uses. Easy to use and easy to clean. Can be a bit bulky but we keep ours in a lower cabinet.

I recently bought this vegetable chopper, and it’s an absolute game changer! It slices, dices, and juliennes effortlessly, saving me so much time in the kitchen. The blades are super sharp but safely designed, so I don’t have to worry about hurting my hands. Cleanup is quick and easy—just a rinse under water and it’s good to go.

First the good: I love the design, the way the various blades stow away, the smaller, sleek design and the fact that it doesn't take up much room to store. Not so good: It doesn't have much power and tended to bog down easily. My first project was grating a potato for hash browns. It started well but about half-way through a piece of potato lodged at the side of the cylinder the blades fit into. I had to stop the project, disassemble the machine and coax the potato piece out. Next, I tried baby carrots. Again, a carrot piece wedged in the side and ground the process to a halt.I ordered it to use in my RV. I think it would be disappointing to use in a home kitchen.

So I ordered this item and when it came I was excited to start using it but I was expecting something that was really useful and honestly I did not like the results, I tried cucumbers and the slices were too thin, I think it also lacks power, also the storage for the blades was very loose so all the attachments kept coming out of it, it’s well made but needs improvement
