My copper splice developed a small leak. It was in a spot that was going to take a lot of protection to use a torch and resolver. Bought these and a careful measure and cut and in 5 minutes drip was gone. 30 days later completely dry.

Used a 5/16 to repair a fuel line with no problem.I went with 4 stars because the title says for brake lines.While these are perfectly good fittings that are useful for thousands of applications, I would never recommend a compression fitting on a brake line.A bad brake line should be replaced or at least repaired with a flared fitting.For other applications like fuel lines, water lines, air lines, these are great fittings, and the set includes 4 common sizes.Great item, but titled wrong

The rings inside the fitting doesn't fit over the line very easy to the point they can't be used. Don't waste your money.
