I use these for storing factory loaded .223 / 5.56 after weighing each round and doing a visual inspection. These hold 400 rounds in a tightly sealed, stackable and tough can. I also put a packet or 2 of desiccant in with the ammo just in case.

This can is very well put together. It is sturdy and seals well, making it water resistant. The 4 ammo cases that come with it are nice and solid as well. I am well pleased with this purchase.

The can itself is sturdy and high quality. The 4 containers inside each hold 100 rounds, giving you the 400 total rounds of storage. I was not a big fan of the stickers on the front of these cans, so I ordered some online that stand out a little better.I also don't really know that these cans are any more practical than a "regular" MTM 50 cal ammo can...As those easily store 400 rounds worth of manufactured, boxed ammo. That being said, if you reload your own ammo this option will be super helpful for you. Or, if like me you just want to be a little more organized with your store bought ammo, these are pretty helpful.There is room in the can left after you load up the 4 containers, I've stored extra magazines and 20 round boxes of .223 when additional space is needed...My system is to typically keep eighteen 30 round PMAGs loaded up. And then I try to keep this box full of 400+ rounds. Loading the magazines from this supply, as needed.All in all, this is an inexpensive, quality ammo can. I expect this thing will last a life time unless I really abuse it, which is unlikely. Badass ! I need more ! I must buy more, I wanna store all my stuff in these. Underwear, cat food, soap and shampoo, food and drinks ! Ammo too probably. These mfrs stack up high and sturdy and have inspired me to get other areas of my life organized and strong. I quit my job and dumped my cheating old lady. I'm now traveling the country by stowing away on passing freight trains ! It's a wonderful life and I owe it all to these bins keeping my .223/5.56 and 9luger ammo safe and dry. I love it, perfect box to take to the range or on crown land. Comfortable to carry and be organized at the same time.The ammo boxes are just your regular MTM ammo boxes in all black, great cases!For the price it is a good deal as you get every case at once, plus safe some money while you're at it.

The MTM ammo can, is a hard plastic box, containing four 100 round ammo boxes. the black ammo boxes are sized correctly for .223 or 5.56 as wll as other small rifle rounds. Each 100 round box comes with adhesive labels for reloading data.. with bullet weight, powder type and charge, etc.. The box was delivered fast, packaged well, and was brand new. It just works.. I'm in the process of loading 500 rounds of .223 and this just makes it easy to store. The make another box that will carry loaded magazines.. I may look into one of those as well.. THIS 400 round box is definately worth the money.
