I had to drill my own holes when attaching the chute to the deck of my Troy Built pony

You have to lift the seat to open it and the lid kinda of is like "let's go brandon"......would not buy again.

This MTD 36" Bagger system was priced better than Craftsman and had no fitment issues. If a person follows directions supplied by MTD they will not have any assembly issues.Very fast next day delivery with Amazon.

Probably works for the MTD mower. Somewhat easy to mount. The plastic is very heavy duty. Once extensive modifications were made it actually worked. Good grass pickup.easy to unload. Due to the fact that they don’t have a cheap one that fits my mower. This actually works well. If you don’t mind extensive modifications and custom brackets for the installation

I bought a Craftsman T100, 36 inch tractor at Lowes this past Spring. When Fall arrived and leaves started covering lawn, I did what I usually did, I broke out the hand held backpack blower/vac. After blowing leaves into a pile of about 15' x 8' x 3' tall, it took me 17 trips from the back yard to the front yard and about 4 hours, to suck up all the leaves and dump on the front curb to be collected by my Boro. I could barely get out of bed the next morning. So I invested in this Bagger for my tractor. Everything went together well, except for the chute that connects to the deck. It is molded slightly smaller than it should be, along the bottom of chute that is supposed to fit inside the lip of the deck. Mine was about 5/8" too small which left a gap at the deck opening of about a 1/4", but was still snug around the deck opening. I did not notice this gap to effect performance any.The instructions of bagger suggest that you do not let the bags get overfilled, but without a sight-glass in the top of bagger cover/lid, how do you tell? I wasn't going to constantly stop to check how full the bags were. I just kept an eye on see-thru round tube. When I noticed the leaves started backing up, I stopped cutting, drove to the curb and emptied bags.A week after I installed this bagger, the back yard was almost covered again. It only took me 5 trips to clean up my yard and I was using the stock mulching blades on tractor. The leaves were pulverized when I emptied the bags. Much more so than when I used the backpack vac.I did buy a set of new blades for the tractor, Craftsman SBD CMXGZAM110194 54" Ultra High-Lift Bagging Blade Set, Black. This is a 3 blade set and I only need 2, because I couldn't find these blades in a 2-pack, but I intend to install them to use next summer/fall to see if it makes any difference in the performance of the tractor.I highly recommend this Bagger if you have a 36" tractor. This will NOT fit a 42/46 inch deck.

Purchased with the hope that it would fit my Craftsman T100 36" rider and it did not disappoint. It fit perfect on this mower with no modification needed. I paid $279 for the this bagger when the craftsman one sells for $400+ at Lowes. Instructions were not the best but you can figure it out fairly easy. Did not experience any clogging of chute and the only downside is the bags fill pretty fast.

We bought this bagger for our new Troy-Bilt riding mower about a month ago and have used it twice and both times I’ve had to stop mowing multiple times because the tube gets clogged with leaves and the leaves will stay at the bottom part where the blade deck is. It will be returned since it’s crap and doesn’t even sit on the blade deck properly. It doesn’t seal like it’s supposed to at the deck. The tube that connects to the deck is not big enough to cover what it’s supposed to cover on the deck. So our guess is it’s not getting enough air flow into the tube to push the leaves into the bags.
