Great cup, crummy lid. I really like the size of this one but the lid doesn’t fully close so if you’re on the move it spills. Fix the lid, it gets 5 stars.

Now, I own a lot of titanium mugs from many many brands......This is my all time favorite!-The double wall design is excellent. Keeps your drink hot, and your hands cool(ish)-Quality is fantastic-Lid is firm and easy to drink from-ULTRA light-Cheap cheap cheapSo so so affordable. Not like 98% of other titanium mugs.Do you want to pay 100+ for a mug? No? Neither do I. Luckily MSR doesn't ask you to.LOVE IT

This is the last mug I will need to buy, light strong and doesn’t burn your hand when boiling water goes in!

Great cup with wide base. Hard to knock over on uneven surface but does not quite fit in car cup holder. Nice lid which works better than most. The double wall works great but does not hold heat as well as high quality vacuum cup.Would buy again if it goes missing.

My old titan cup is less than half the weight (1.8 oz vs 4.2 oz) and you can boil water in it. But I use a beer cozy to keep coffee and tea warm a little longer. It also keeps it from rattling around in my old titan kettle .85L.The new cup is taller and doesn’t nest inside my old kettle. Kinda frustrating. So it’s taller and heavier but at least it holds less. The lid is nice. It’s nicer to drink out of. And if you spring for the new .9L kettle everything will nest.

If you are taking one cup on your backpack trip (and really who takes more?), this double walled MSR titanium one is an excellent choice. I find this cup super light, easy to hold (no annoying handle!) and well insulated. It kept my coffee plenty warm while I drank it in a leisurely fashion on my deck in 40° weather. Is it the most insulated ever? No. Will it keep your soup/oatmeal/coffee/hot toddy at the right temperature for a while so you are not chowing down on or drinking lukewarm stuff? Absolutely. In addition, the lid fits securely and makes drinking a breeze. Do note it has a sip hole and a tiny hole for air so you can’t use this to store leftovers in. On the plus side, it nests well in my small titanium pot. This holds a nice amount: 375 ml (a little over 12.5 oz) and weighs in at 116 g (a little over 4 oz). It measures 3.7” x 3.5”. MSR products, in my experience, may cost a little more initially but you only buy them once and then enjoy them for years. I suspect this will be my go-to cup for the foreseeable future.

Whether drinking coffee or tea, I like for the last of the cup to still be warm. This cup works. I filled this cup with boiling water at the same time I filled an identical single-walled cup. Both had lids, which I used. Three minutes later, the water in each cup was about 171 degrees(the temperature of the cup cools the water when it is filled). After another five minutes, water in this cup was still 170 degrees while the other had cooled to about 155 degrees. Also, I could hold this cup by the sides, while the single-walled was too hot to hold. In other words, this is now my go-to cup for coffee on the trail. Note: I use a small bush pot to boil the water over the fire.

No es tan ligero y no aisla suficientemente el calor, te puedes quemar las manos si pones agua muy caliente

Comes in right at 4 oz. Not something a true ultralight backpacker would even consider, but I like my coffee to stay hot and I'll carry 4 oz for that privilege. The lid is an awesome friction fit. I've had zero issues.Worth it? That's going to depend on how much you like your coffee to be hot. For a relaxing weekend trip I'm bringing this along. A thru hike? Nope. I'll drink out of the pot faster :)

What's not to love about this mug? It's lightweight, compact, protects your hands from scorching while keeping them warm, and looks awesome. I've started using this cup at home now as well, because I just love the look and feel of it.I purchased one of those plastic insulated camping mugs before this, but I just couldn't get over the plastic smell, which overpowered the coffee. This titanium cap has none of that odor (even with the plastic cover), and it's a better size, too. Drinking out of it feels like drinking out of a ceramic mug, except lighter. The cover is a great addition when it's cold out, as it helps to keep your coffee warmer longer. Aside from blocking out some of the wonderful coffee aroma, it detracts little from the sipping experience. It's very easy to put it on and take it off. It would be nice if there was the option of a cover with a flip lid so you could carry it without worrying about spilling, but the existing design has its advantages as well.Shows fingerprints on the outside, but they wash off easily.

Expected a cup with a lid where you could seal the lid. Described as leak proof. NOT. Tip it over and it leaks. And obviously will cool off to fast when camping on a cool morning, trying to tear camp down while enjoying HOT cup of coffee. TOTAL FAIL

This is indeed incredibly light. It's even lighter than the rubber collapsible cup I usually take with me backpacking - though not as packable. It holds heat very well. I usually have ramen soup at night and coffee/tea in the mornings and this is perfect for both situations. I can't wait to take this backpacking with me this summer!!!
