Seems well made, easy to deploy, light, and I like the lightweight bag with the magnetic closure that it came with. The price I found here on Amazon was less than anywhere else I looked for a probe.Came with a thick but small card stock spiral-bound booklet, which I thought was like an avalanche safety guide - Nope, it's mostly just documentation for multiple OTHER MSR products. Including this fairly worthless booklet seems really wasteful. I've spent way too much time thinking about why MSR included this booklet, and why it's spiral bound, and why is it made with the glossiest nicest paper imaginable...
