I was have a slight drop of rpm in my mini and new it wasn't my coil or spark plugs as I had replaced them, so these were next on my list to do and it cured my issue and smoothed out my idle. Not sure it increases horsepower but they do help create a better spark in my opinion.

I had these on my first R53 (2002-2006 MINI Cooper S) and I just got my second a few months back. When I saw the fraying on the plug wires of the new car, I knew where I'd be coming. The wires have some of the best electrical properties in the business and they fit the R53 perfectly. All of the connections give some good feedback (a nice 'snick' feeling when they attach) and they look the business.

Really felt a big time difference on my 05 R53 JCW after installing in combination with the MSD ignition pack! Top end power almost doubled and so much smoother!

I replaced the original coil in a '94 Mini Cooper, along with spark plugs and wires. It all fitted perfectly and the swap helped me detect that one of the old spark plugs & wires(#4)was not good. So far the engine feels better and the mileage has improved, so it's all good.
