I bought this to use my 1900 Herbert Clarke mouthpiece on both my flugelhorn and my trumpet and it works flawlessly. The one downside is that it is easy to get it stuck, so be very careful to not apply too much force when putting it and your mouthpiece into your horn. Otherwise, this has no downside I have discovered. If you want to use a cornet mouthpiece with a trumpet, this is a perfect solution.

Works as intended. If your favorite mouthpiece is for a cornet, you can use it with your trumpet, too.
