I have loved these shirts for years but was disappointed in this purchase as the workmanship is no longer the same quality. I had packed it away for our vacation and then, after the return window was closed, found open seams when I went to wear it and the fit had changed.

I wore this for the first time on a hike in the Swiss Alps. We went to Rotstockhutte and back down. At some point I got dirt on the cuffs, just normal hiking dust. Not even a thick amount or specific application of dirt, just dust from walking trails for 10 hours. Just this dirt stained the cuffs even though I rinsed and spot treated the shirt. I expect a shirt like this to basically rinse clean, with soap being generous overkill, but even after a stain treatment and wash it remains. Soaking in Oxi Clean for 2 days lightened it significantly but even that did not fully remove the stain. I'm pretty disappointed!

I'm 61, 135 lbs, 5'3" with about 34B chest. I bought Medium. It has a more formal cut than the camp shirts I own (still good after 10+ years, ExOfficio, my favorite brand). This Mountain Hardware shirt is very FITTED. It fits me perfectly, BUT when I move my arms it's tight across the back. it will not fit you if you have any more boob to speak of. It's funny that my other shirts are 6-8 and baggy, but this Medium is very close cut. Otherwise a necessary part of the wardrobe in the summer, I'm at that point in life where I generally want to avoid the sun and bugs.

Sizing was right, nice lightweight quick-dry fabric, really like the Rosehip color. Worked out great for a recent backcountry hiking trip that had high temps and lots of sun

I typically purchase XS/S in tops, this runs small. For a performance shirt, it’s too restrictive in the arms. Sizing up would make the back flare out too much. Also, the buttons are small and hard to close, even though I don’t have long nails. It’s a shame because material and design otherwise are nice

I got this shirt because the equivalent item around 15 years ago has lasted me, well, 15 years! It is a truly spectacular shirt! A word of warning, though: my old shirt was size 12, so I ordered a size large according to the new sizing chart. It was way too small! A size 12 is actually an XL.
