Works great but fully open the wind rushes between the windshield and the headlights.It is reasonably easy to cut a thin plexiglass sheet and bolt it between these brackets and their mounting points, which provides extrado effect on the windshield and shoots highway speeds wind well over my helmet.For what it looks like after with the secondary buffer, just check the first picture on Amazon (the one with the Rally Raid GPS mount), this is actually my motorcycle with the first buffer I had added - I had to replace it once after ~10000 miles and will have to do it again.I would buy these again in a heartbeat.(OTOH the optic protection is crappy and ended up damaging my headlight )P.S. Guys, you used my picture without my authorization.

Took my time to figure out how these install. Patience and a half dozen beers and it came out great. Works amazingly. I'm 6'3 and can ride with my viser open and not get blasted by wind. Took a lot of weight off my neck by moving the wind up. Great cheap mod, maybe not the best for highway speeds, but I did 100 miles of 80mph ish speeds and could have done triple that with no complaints.

It works great to keep the light from shaking. Time consuming to install so I planned this installation while I had the front end apart for other things
