Direct replacemet factory Ford fuel pump, easy install if you remove the bed. Delivered next day. Just verify the size of the tank, this pump is for the 36 gal tank, called extended range.

After 14 years and 285000 miles my gas gauge stopped working. I figured that it was a matter of time before the fuel pump died as well. I went with a Motorcraft vs aftermarket even though it is more expensive due to the fact that it is such a hard part to change; either drop the gas tank or remove the truck bed. Be sure to order a new o-ring gasket since it does not come with the fuel pump.

Cheapest I could find around. Yep, it’s a fuel pump. Make sure you got the right size, for F150s, there are 3 different sizes based on wheelbase/tank size. This is for 36 gallons.

When I purchased this, there was no picture of what I was going to get. I just ASSUMED I would get the gasket. When I installed this, I did not even pay attention to NO GASKET. The description of the product should make this clear. When I went back to view this listing, I can see that Amazon offers a bundle where they have you purchase the gasket. I wish I had noticed that.Pump working fine except I got CHECK ENGINE light on due to vacuum leak. Now we have to drop the tank a second time, not fun.

This OEM part fixed my “crank -no start” problem on my f150. 3months and still working fine

A word of advice to anybody needing to purchase this pump. If you had a pump failure be sure to check the wiring on the fuse for the fuel pump in the power distribution box under the hood, I found burnt wires where the insulation had melted off from excessive amp draw. A few vehicle fires have been associated with this fuel pump issue. When the pump starts failing it draws more amps (around 15A), but not enough to burn out the fuse (20A). Check the amp draw under normal running and if you can downsize the fuse to a 15 amp. I would rather replace a fuse than an entire vehicle.

I ordered this part at a substantial savings over the same part from the Ford dealer. It was packed in the OEM box and was actually a brand new part.. Shipping was fast as promised. It was correct for the application. I only wish installing it was just as easy. Good news...my truck is up and running again.
