Dealerships charge a lot to replace this part, even though it's a common problem and a probable defect. I was able to replace and I'm maybe a 2 on a scale of 10 mechanically.

Easy and inexpensive fix on a 2013 Ford Fusion with the 1.6 Eco boost engine. Took about 20 minutes to replace and eliminated the engine error code. Lost a little coolant during the change out, so added a small back after repair was complete and all was good.
