This light selection knob is definitely worth the money. It is quite sturdy and rigid but won't become brittle and crack or break after one cold winter season, like some other plastic alternatives do. The only real downside I experienced with it was it took a small modification to get it working properly when installed on a 1999-2003 Ford F-150. This generation of F-150s have the type of fog lights that are activated by pulling out the knob about 2-3 mm. To successfully accomplish this the knob has a small rectangular cutout on the top section of the knob that a small retention arm on the selector switch locks into place with. On the knob I received, the flashing from the blow molding process was still present on/around the knob cutout, preventing the retention arm on the switch from locking into place. As soon as I cut away the flashing (which is usually done during the manufacturing process) the knob fit and worked perfectly. I would definitely purchase this product again.
