- IMPROVEMENTS: All 2016 and newer 1000 machines had a BOSS secondary clutch that wears out faster in some areas than this older Tied style design. This is the same style of clutch that came on the 2014-15 XP 1000's and other higher-end models throughout the years. This Tied design has been around a long time and is very well known. Upgrading your secondary means less belt/clutch issues, better clutch consistency and performance, and superior performance for the long haul.
- ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:
- the clutch floats back and forth on the secondary shaft. This ensures the clutch stays aligned with the primary clutch at all times, even under torque/power.
- Less belt slap on the clutch cover which improves belt life and longevity
- Cooler running belt temps (especially when running larger tires or paddles!)
Mother Clutcher Secondary Clutch Fits Polaris RZR 1000 XP & S (2016-22) EBS Tied-Type Upgrade
- Mother Clutcher Tied upgrade secondary clutch for models listed. This is a true "tied type" upgrade clutch to bolt-on upgrade and replace the BOSS style that originally came on 2016+ RZR 1000XP. These come with correct splines in them to bolt on and run on ALL 2016-2022 Polaris RZR 1000 XP and 1000-S models. Also fits 2016+ Polaris General 1000 & 1000 XP.
- For the first time this model comes with round rollers instead of square pucks.
- Comes fully assembled with spring and helix already installed and ready to bolt on and use!
- EBS SPECS (Engine Braking Specs): The downhill engine braking on this is also a little stronger than what came originally on the 2016+ RZR 1000-XP. The RZR 1000-XP had very mild engine braking from 6-18mph and this brings it up to a medium / moderate amount of engine braking like what already came on 1000-S and General 1000.

Works perfect better than the stock one. I put a primary and secondary on my old machine and it worked great. Now my new machine has this secondary and primary on it.

This is my 3rd primary and 4th secondary clutch. Way better than stock. Lasts longer than and built way better than stock. I do tours and have multiple rzrs.

This was an upgrade for my 20 rzr 1000sStock clutches made it 4700miles and totally wore outI ordered the primary and tied secondary as an upgrade from the boss style from factory. They installed great, i went through them checked over bolts, washers, springs etc. everything was tight and installed correctly. Truly a bolt on setup!I had a question so i texted harvey’s atv from the option on the website. I got a fast reply, very detailed answer, some photos, and a detailed install explanation. FANTASTIC!I just asked if the washer was included for the secondary clutch holding bolt. My old style didnt have a washerNot only was the washer included, i received that very detailed message stating the washer is included and some more info on the swapIm very impressed with the clutches and the company! Ill be ordering again when the time comes and ill be recommending them to my riding buddies

For the price these are tough to beat. I was skeptical at first, due to other reviews. I am happy to report it survived a riding season with zero issues, and still looks new. It appears to be a quality part to me.
