I bought this steel chrome air cleaner housing to replace the same original brand. I never had any issues with rust, chipping, or discoloration on my old one. I like the fitment, the look and the fact that it has a drop base, allowing me to use a 3" air filter without hitting the hood. There's also a lot of clearance on the bottom. It provides more air flow in the efi and gives a tougher look to a big block motor. I received it well packaged and in excellent condition.

new out the box it was great looking and fitting . it sat out of the box on the back seat of my car parked under my carport, doors closed, for one year while i built a high performance engine and drivetrain for the car. when i went to install it found it had rust pits and surface rust all over the lid. they don't make quality chrome anymore. i don't recommend this air cleaner to anyone.

Was really nice and the color was amazing. But there was a dent on one side of the top. Was able to pop it out easily

Great chrome and like always they fit holleys like a glove. Been buying these things for 30+ years because quite frankly they are the best air cleaner on the market.

I thought this was a well made air cleaner and Moroso makes good products. However, it did not fit on my edelbrock 1406. It hit the electronic choke. I needed the drop base to make up the the spacer I was installing but was a bit too much. I had to return.
