This belt seems decent, the backside of the pockets are solid and the rest is mesh so spores can spread as you walk. The pockets have a pull string to close them. I do think the pockets are a little small, they will work fine for smaller mushrooms, we usually collect hens of the woods and this will probably be too small for those. The belt has plenty of room to fit, I'm a size 18 and it has a little more strap left.

This is a great belt for foraging in general and we are very pleased with it. Itd be nice if some of the webbing was a little heavier and higher quality but its really pretty good and seems more than strong enough to last years of use.The three bags are removable and can be used with other belts.I'm very happy with this product so far and think its worth it :)

It is a bit hard to do a complete review on these, because they are foraging bags and—at least where I live—I bought them when there is still snow on the ground. So it will be a couple of MONTHS before I can walk around hiking and picking up things to eat….I can’t wait that long to get started, so let’s just look these over….With a mesh mushroom bag, one thing is especially important—mesh on the outside, but solid on the inside. That is so spores and soil can return to the earth, but your pants stay at least “sort of” clean. These have that crucial feature. The mesh is good and strong, and it has a drawstring at the top. All good, and that alone justifies a twenty buck price. Easily. The product also features an extra bag for “knives” or tools which is supposed to be positioned in front (based on the product webpage photos). I don’t know about you, but I don’t really want my knife…exactly…in front of me. I want it on the side. But in this case that’s where the big mesh bags are.So, to cut to the chase….these two mesh bags are big, well constructed, and useful. The belt that comes with this kit is ordinary at best: one inch nylon webbing; ‘nuff said. But the bags are great, and not expensive, so use this kit as components and/or just add your own stiffer belt.

Will be great for mushroom season! Last year I carried a mesh bag while walking through the woods which helped for morel hunting but having a pouch like this so I can go hands free is amazing. There's mesh only on one side, two bags for mushrooms and one in the center for a phone or knife. The mesh bags have strings you can tighten to close once you've filled that bag. Easy to adjust and easy to put on. Will likely purchase a second one for my husband.

This is a lightweight foraging waistband. It has two mesh, drawstring bags with plenty of room and also contains a smaller zippered bag. The belt is adjustable and comfortable. Quality seems good, and this item is very useful for foraging in the woods. I look forward to trying it out!

Upgrading from a mesh backpack to this mushroom foraging bag felt like stepping into a new era of convenience. With its adjustable waistband and mesh picking bags, this bag is so easy to wear and use—it practically becomes an extension of you while you're out in the woods. The material is sturdy enough to hold a good harvest but soft enough to treat delicate mushrooms and berries with the care they deserve. No more crushed treasures! Plus, having everything around your waist instead of on your back makes the whole foraging experience smoother—you can drop your finds in the bag without a hitch. And you got a separate pouch for your tools. The whole thing was designed thoughtfully by someone who understands foraging. If you're serious about foraging or just want to make your outdoor adventures more enjoyable, this lightweight bag is definitely worth it for $16 on sale (at the time of writing), but the original price of $25 is something to consider.
