Installed in 2005 Civic dx and right quality is improved for sure. I borrowed AutoZone ball joint C- clamp press and also the adapter set and along with my electric impact wrench got the old ball joint . Then used my medium size bench vice to press this moog in and needed a cheater bar to turn vice. It's a tight fit but went in without breaking the vice. Make sure to use snap ring and grease this thing! Oh yeah maybe grease the boot with syl-glide grease (safe on rubber) before pressing into knuckle so as avoid accidental boot tearing. If you do destroy the boot idk what to tell you except might have to order another whole ball joint so be careful.

Paid a premium for moog over no name. The construction and finish is much better than no name but the ball joint started to make noise after 4 months or regular vity driving.

Arrived on time. Installed and was pleased that front end is now much tighter than before. The grease fittings are great. Make sure you install them before installing Axle Shafts, as the clearance is very close and doing them after is not easy.

This ball joints are worth every penny i replace all my suspension parts with moog and i can really feel the difference , great quality and performance some of my moog parts are made in Japan ,India ,Mexico and i can tell that the quality is great fit my honda civic sedan ex 2001 both are the same so just order 2 . And save yourself some headaches buy the ball joint tool to removed it u can buy here or buy it at harbor freight for about 23 $

Very Nice Ball Joint for 2002 Honda Civic LX. For easy install go to AutoZone and use their loan-a-tool program, if you do not own a Hydraulic Press. They have the Manual Press part number 27023 and you will also need the correct adapter kit for your vehicle, also available on the loan a tool program. Check out gear wrench model 3916D for a high quality ball joint separator and changing these out will be painless.
