Worked great on my Lincoln town car.

The ball joint appears to be of good quality and was fairly straight forward to install to a point. As I was finishing the install I discovered the incorrect size castle nut was included with the ball joint. What looked to be a 14mm nut was included instead of the properly sized 16x1.5. I called Moog who basically said take it up with Amazon who wouldn't refund me unless I returned the already installed part. My only option was to go to a tire shop down the road who thankfully had the proper size in their scrap pile that they let me have so I could get my car back on the road.

You can't beat Moog guality and performance. A little more expensive but just a little and you can see and feel the quality.

Moog Suspension Parts are exactly what they are marketed as, Tthe Problem Solvers". I tried the cheap "all in one" package of front end suspension parts from an auction site, only to have to replace all of them after they wore out and my car began clunking and handling terrible. I installed all Moog suspension parts on my Lincoln Town Car and it is as quiet as it could possibly be. And the Moog Parts on Amazon...about half the price of what they are at the national chain stores or anywhere else on the web for that matter!!

Buyer alert! Good looking joint but it leaked grease right through the rubber boot instead of at the grease relief port! Second boot direct from Moog did the same. Third boot taken locally from a new joint also leaked grease right through the rubber as if porous or cracked. Grease relief ports all dry as a bone, showing boots not over-greased. No grease ever reached there in any of the boots. All three boots (and joint) installed by professional (licensed) technician. Concern for stretching the tapered hole in the knuckle from repeated separation of the joint has lead to attempting repair with RTV instead of another replacement boot (and possibly another leak!). Repair holding for now but always the worry of how long the RTV will hold. I cannot be the only one having this problem. The boots came from three different sources. Moog must be aware of the problem but has not (yet?) addressed it. Until then: buyer beware and check your boots after greasing!

Fit perfectly in my 2001 Town Car. Really like the grease fitting. The boot is a b*tch to get on, but once it's on it's on! Great price on Amazon. Save hundreds and to this job yourself in your driveway!

I purchased these moog ball joints and after having them on the car for about a month they have performed well. They went on easy and I would have given them a five star but are slightly difficult when it comes to putting on the boot, other than that I love them.
