I just tested this great scope on my 45-/70, and not only was it very easy to zero, but it was clear and accurate, as I used the coin (quarter) for the test. I'll buy another soon (if they don't go up ) LOL.I'm still giving it 5 * the only thing I noticed was a little bit on the heavy side.

Nice Scope. Not great perhaps, but good. I will update review when (or if) I am actually able to get the thing sighted in!

This has been worth it to me on my .308 ar.Seems to have held zero after several hundred rounds.Have to get a little closer than I like on higher zooms. But has been great value to me.

Monstrum is my go to optic for long rifles. Inexpensive, reliable, and there's one for every use case. The tolerances are tight, with proper eye relief, the viewing window is significant, and the illumination is great for indoor shooting.

I would put this on a real firearm. Went on an air rifle. Only targeting at 25m in the backyard. Nice reticle. Audible click on turrets. Needed higher scope mounts than the ones that came with for my setup.

Installed on CZ 557 30-06 w/muzzle brakeAs an avid gun collector and builder I have had the opportunity to try many different optics on all levels of the totem pole. I had extremely low expectations for this optic. I was thoroughly impressed that this scope included scope rings and a sun shade ($100+ with many other brands). It felt well built right out of the box. I've handled $500 scopes that don't feel this good.So far I have 80 rounds of 30-06 through it and it's holding zero just fine. No issues dinging an 8" gong at 500 yards.2 negativesWindage and Elevation adjustments are "spongy." They're not real crisp and clean adjustments but they do work.Parallax & illumination adjustments are very, very stiff. I'm sure if I work them back and forth for a while they will get easier.Bottom line. You won't get a scope of this quality with all this features for under $500. The cons are an easy trade off for the value.

I bought this scope didn’t wanna spend fortune on it until I found out if I was gonna like the gun, but I have it on a 300 Remington short action Ultra mag and it is stood up to over 200 rounds and has not been shook loose. It only took five shots to get it zeroed in at the distance I wanted and it is a very good and very clear scope

So the optic its self is great. No complaints I buy from this brand of Optics a lot. However this particular one has to be set on picatinny rails and can’t be set on most long rifle rails where it’s just the one groove for the optic placement. All in all optic is good mounting system could use a second option for people not mounting to an AR style platform.
