I will be adding a photo comparing these to older "orange" price tags, but in the meantime... these are not orange. They are bright yellow with a slight orange tint. If the choices are yellow or orange, these are yellow. They are still bright, eye catching, and have loaded so far without issue. The picture on the ad looks orange, what arrived was yellow. The tags themselves seem fine, but they need to find someone who is not color blind to label the ad.

These do not absorb ink. I am using with a brand new Monarch 1131 printer. It will print on the labels, but the ink just sits on top of the label for about an hour before fully drying. Smears because of this.

We have used label gun labels from Kansas City Supply for the past 4 or 5 years with great satisfaction, as compared with the Monarch brand, for our church garage sale fund-raiser. But this lot was not the same. Instead of being a deep reddish orange with a matte finish and an excellent adhesive, this batch was Gold in color; the paper was shiny and more fragile, and the adhesive would not stick to many items, with which the previous lots had had no problem. Kansas City Supply, you previously had a clear winner, but this one does not meet your older standard.
