The headboard was apparently damaged, and was painted to look new. Didn't find out until it was too late to return and damaged my child's stuffed animal. Paint rubbed off on pillow case and stuffed animal. I don't appreciate paying for something was obviously damaged and repaired and then sold as new.

While this head board looks nice it smells terrible, I would associate it with rotten fish. I think it was the glue they use on the backing, but not sure. I could smell it when it was outside, in the box, in my entryway. I left this product in my garage hoping it would air out once out of the box, it did not, my garage smelled just like the head board. I was able to return it but the company stated foul odor was not a defect (furniture shouldn't smell) and I would have to pay shipping back to them. I did just that. I have never written a review before this one, just thought folks should be aware of the odor that does not go away.

The headboard looks good and has plenty of adjustment for the height. For the price the unit is good. There was a crack on one of the legs but I did not think it was going to be a structural problem and it was not visible. The materials used are pretty minimum and on the thin side but adequate for their purpose. If you are looking for a sturdy heavy duty head board, this is not the one to purchase. It is a very nice looking inexpensive headboard using some solid wood. I would rate the overall quality as good with a good value. It was easy to install and had adequate hardware.

The headboard looks good and feels sturdy, but it came with zero hardware or instructions. I had to get in contact with the supplier directly because Amazon's only solution was to return the product. The supplier responded quickly, and sent hardware. However, the packet they sent did not contain enough hardware to actually secure the headboard to my bedframe. I'm not sure if this is standard for headboards, but it's pretty annoying.
