I bought this bulb 3.5 years ago (1,265 days ago to be precise) and it has been on for 12 hours a day every single day since. So 15,180 hours give or take. And it just died today. The value for the money is great! This bulb has helped my 9 foot tall fiddle leaf fig thrive for the last 3.5 years. I will purchase again and again!

I bought 2 of the 9.5 watt and one of the 2-watt bulbs. These plants and lights were placed in a room with no other source of light. They were removed from a well lit kitchen window to a room with more area. 10 strawberry plants, 3 tomato plants, 1 Lime tree, 1 Lemon tree all of which started out very healthy. All have almost but died in about 3 weeks! Daily watering, misting, and even using a watering meter, watering conditions have been more than acceptable. All plants were put into new pots with fresh potting soil. I've been trying to eliminate what is wrong for weeks. I took the plants outside to be in sunlight and in just 24 hours the plants are all turning green again! 48 hours in and they are coming back to life and starting to grow again. In the process of elimination of was it my water, or my soil... Nope! Turned out to be these horrible lights! I'm buying new next and NOT going with this name brand as they do NOT work at all!

I bought two of these about a year ago and one has already failed. Although the warranty is only one year, I expect LED lights to last for 5 years or more. Perhaps this is not the best brand to buy.

Very bright, white, and the plants love it! I bought 4 to light a corner where I have flowers and other plants. They are flourishing. I love that they use so little electricity to do the same job.

These are really pretty good. I use them on a few plants and it helps in a north facing bay window by boosting the light a bit over what they would get naturally in that window. I use two of them at about 3 or 4 feet above the plants, and it seems to have a positive effect. They fit nice into can light and are hidden from view.

The light is very bright, but concentrated, your plants won't be able to get very big under this light, you need to angle it to spread the light out. The bulb is a lot brighter than a 15 watt cfl and since it's so concentrated it was brighter than a yellowish 23 watt cfl. The spectrum is good, my plants seem to be growing faster than they were under the 15 watt cfl. I'll update you guys in a couple of months on how everything is doing if I remember. Look at the wall in the background between all three of the pictures I posted.

The following are my first impressions of this light, written shortly after its arrival on February 25, 2013:1. This was ordered on Thursday evening, and arrived in Monday's mail; &2. The beam is cool, tight, like a spotlight, so that, at 12" above my table, the beam has a diameter of perhaps 10", & too bright to comfortably look directly into.Ergo, I'd probably need 3 or 4 strategically situated to illuminate, oh say, a 3'x3' fichus. As with the fellow above, I'll update this post, as I, too, must determine whether to invest further. Its shining upon my Mimosa forest that's just coming out of dormancy, & we'll see how they sit up!****Its now April 16th, & nearly 2 months have passed since I plugged it in. This is one very intense light, capable of morphing leaves if too close. Pull back, pull back, give it some distance, say 10-12" from the closest green. What is really fun is how its been shining through the Mimosa forest onto the lower portion of the 3' tall fichus, which has caused that baby to explode with growth around its base. And the Mimosa forest? This is its 3rd spring, and it doubled in size over last year, yeah, just like that during these few weeks, and I've no fear that it'll be ready to plant outside as soon as the soil warms, and survive next winter. No, I do not need 3-4 of these little hummers, 1 is just fine to play with!Do buy & Mango Besties- Roy****Its March 12, 2014, just a tad more than a year since this light first turned on.The Mimosa forest was planted outside & thrived¡K. Its health leading up through the winter increased exponentially with the light.Sadly, the fichus rapidly fell into the shadow of my Broadleaf Philodendron, which rose from deep hibernation and exploded with luscious growth! That¡¦s the real miracle of the light, this Philodendron that¡¦s been with me for the past 40 years, first in the Bay Area where it thrived with the humdidity & had to be hoisted up 7¡¦ towards the ceiling, but out here on the arid Colorado Plateau its only marginally survived for the past 33.Now its leaves are once again 17x8¡¨ and shining green, and its sent out 2 (two!) of its green sheathed (red inside) cream colored phallic flowers for the first time in these 33 years, and did that when we are just coming into Spring sunlight!I do believe that, in the near future, I¡¦ll be purchasing four of these little gems, to put in the fixture in my ceiling fan! I¡¦ve played with just this one, & want to see what four will do ºThis is bodaciously fine inventation from the human spirit. And, having been shining about 10 hours a day all last (late) winter, and throughout this winter, apparently its one with longevity.Prosper! - Roy
