Recommended Use
- Please see to it that it is mini type with more flexible and portable size, and the magnetic base is 50lb, compared with normal ones (bigger, heavier, and usually 130lb).
- Suitable for small dial test indicator (like KHCRAFT dial test indicator, please visit our store www.amazon.com/khcraft to see it) and even hold 2 test indicators at the same time. But this mini holder is not so suitable for normal dial indicator 0-1", which is too heavy, though you could put on our stand with the hole 3/8".

The mag base on this little arm is pretty strong, not as strong as it's big brothers but good enough to swing around whatever your working on and keep a good reading on the indicator. I liked the arm especially in that it could take different size dials. A good deal.

This base and arm are smaller than the full size ones. Works well, magnetic base has good pull, and the arm stays in place by tightening the single locking screw. It fit my lug backed 0-1" indicators as well as dovetailed test indicators. Good value for the money. Nice finish and smooth operation. I've used it for measuring camshaft lift on an engine and for dialing in work on my lathe.

Works perfectly for holding my test indicator from the same brand (also very nice). The relief in the bottom lets it stick to the round surface of my spindle housing as well as flat surfaces. Adjustment of the arm is very easy with one knob. The collars rotate on the arms to allow articulation however you want it.

Flimsy, weak holding power, stripped threads on magnetic base. So much play in the arm due to the stripped threads holding the arm to the base, ball joints are flimsy and fall from any position you set them in. No magnetic strength, you tap the base and it falls off anything you mount it to. Thankfully I was able to return this.

I have a bigger version of this that works very well, but it is too big for smaller applications. This fits the bill
