I gave 1 star because I had to. This item is complete junk. Received it in a ripped plastic bag. The instructions were ripped. Obviously previously used. Used pieces of sand paper. Worn rubber parts.I would not recommend anyone order from these folks. A total rip off. It was a Christmas present gone wrong.I didn't pay for a bottle cutter, I paid for an education in getting a crap product.DO NOT BUY

o way to lock cutter to make straight cuts, can be done but to much wandering as compared to other cutters

Bought this. Does the job after lots of practice. Takes a lot to cut. Does not lock to stay straight since there’s too much play in the arm and swivel top part. Don’t recommend. I would recommend a more stationary cutting mechanism.
