We went through each slide and cherry-picked the best ones that were gross enough to delight 4th graders. As soon as they could focus on these we gave them pond water to their delight. These were easy for them to handle, are labeled and provide a good assortment.

As a novice, I was pleased with this set. I read some reviews that slides came broken, but we had no issues with that. We did get one slide that did not appear to have anything on it, but perhaps the sample was so small, we couldn't find it.

I bought these to go along with my son’s homeschool chemistry curriculum. They worked out perfectly. The selection is really good and covered all the different experiments he needed to do.

Shipping package was undismayed and packed well. But 7 broken slides with wrap inside box still on them. Asked for a replacement so I will see how that one arrives!

Several of the slides were broken. We scotch taped them, so hopethey are ok. It was a gift for our grandson.

Many of the glass slides are broken, and or chipped deeming them unusable in a safe manner.
