Only used it a few times, but I love it! If you need a small handy saw this is perfect. Made a 3 ft long sheet-metal skiff (model) for welding class with it right off the bat - very easy to control and cuts clean. I think it's a nice unit for the money.

The unit arrived with the drive belt detached. I found no mention of the drive belt in the setup or adjustment instructions . How do I put the drive belt in place so I can use this saw, and where can I purchase replacement drive belts (this one looks pretty cheap) ?

I needed to make a custom seat pan for my racing motorcycle. I cut .080" mild steel and 1/8” aluminum with ease. I was literally done in minutes cutting my pieces. I used it dry with no coolant attachment and blade still feels sharp.Highly recommend for the DIY’r or hobbyist. Would work great for rapid prototyping among many other uses. I was looking for a good quality, affordable band saw. Entry level band saws I looked at were unimpressive. (I suspect they were all manufactured at the same plant and rebadged).I'm very happy w the MultiLux band saw. It's smaller than other entry level saws, but high quality and portable. It's very flexible, the variiable blade speed can be set to cut wood, metal and ceramics (w the appropriate blade). There is a liquid blade coolant option available.

Have used it to cut plastic, aluminum, and steel and it cut really nice. This product is all I'd hoped it was.

Love this saw for small work. I think they need to extend the tabs on the bottom so you don't have to take off the casing to bolt it to your workbench. But I love the small footprint saving valuable space in the studio.
