My bike came with overly thick handlebar tape for my hands, misplaced integrated brake/shifters, and brake lines running at the front rather than bottom of the bars, so to rectify those problems this was my first experience wrapping bars.The handlebar tape itself is rather nice to touch (not tacky, not too thick), was easy to reposition when wrapping , and I hope it will be as durable as the other reviews. The finishing tape (with the PRO logo) was a bit narrow for my tastes, and I didn't care for the logo. For the time being, I finished with some gaffer's tape.

I used this on my Aranyik hybrid machete. I didnt wrap it too tight, and yet it still provided not only a solid grip but some good cushioning as well. Recommended.

The wrapping is very forgiving- I partially unwrapped and re-wrapped several times before getting it the way I wanted it and it came out great. It looks good and feels good, with enough cushioning for my riding. I did file the inserts for the end caps a bit to get them to fit into the handlebars with the tape, but it all came out fine.

Love this tape!It looks like leather at first glance, but it's not priced like leather or harder to put on like leather.It's not matte, but it's not too glossy either, it has just enough shine.It's not slippery, but it's not crazy tacky either. It's a very good middle ground.I don't wonder what to put on the bars of my latest build or bike flip because this is the stuff I'll automatically reach for. For the price it's soooo much better than your average cork tape and looks 10x better. The cheaper budget cork stuff doesn't stretch right, feels odds, doesn't look classic, holds dirt too easily... bleh. This has none of those problems. The stretch is nice. You can make it more padded or more firm by stretching more or less as you wrap. I think it's a hidden gem in the world of low price handlebar tape and I use it myself.

I really like how this tape feels. It's very comfortable and padded. It was easy to install because it's stretchy but resilient. I had no issues when I wanted to re-wrap one side to appease OCD tendencies. Will definitely buy again.

Really good bar tape. Applies easily,stretches nicely,and stays put when you lay it down. Durable and has good padding for a solid and comfortable ride.

PRO smart silicon has to be about the easiest tape to install. Great feel ,Great look, Great price, Great Product ! . Another awesome product from Shimano . Highly recommended A+++ .
