This is a high quality emblem. The finish on it is very well done, and it will shine just as well as your vehicle does. I can't comment on the 3M adhesive strips because I went straight for my gorilla strips which have held up for 3yrs now on my truck. I got his one situated on the back of my vehicle and it looks like no other. I see rival school fans smirk when they see this on the back of my vehicle. GO BLUE!!!
