The drivers are housed in a ported enclosure that delivers extended bass response with low distortion. Full size 5-way binding posts provide the full complement of speaker wire connectivity options. I ordered a pair of these for a stereo setup in our master bedroom. This model doesn't have built-in crossovers, but they sound pretty good. I decided to install some cheap 2-way crossovers ($14 on Amazon), and the speakers really came alive. All in all, I paid ~$40 less than a pair of new MB42X-C speakers...

These speakers are awesome! I originally bought one speaker just to listen to how well it sound. Immediately, I ordered a second speaker. Depending on what you have pushing these speakers they will sound awesome. I compared them to a floor model 1980s, 100 watts Techniques speaker that have a woofer, midrange and treble, with the volume turned up, these speaker sound just as good as the Techniques speaker. I plan to buy another pair for my Onkyo pre-amplifier.

Amazing device for the money, sound quality is superb, after hearing these i am not able to use quality headsets as they sound just ok compared to this, it is that good.
