Now this is quality with military grade. This is not some airsoft stuff that you think kids would use at all. The finish on it is a matte black that's anodized with a non-reflective property. Other than that, it was easy to assemble by attaching the main mount into the double mount. Once it's clicked in, it's very solid. There are adjustment points that tighten up everything to remove any wiggles or shakes. It's so solid that even when mounting it into the helmet shroud, it will not wiggle at all. The tolerance levels are very tight and fits like a glove. As for the pivot point, it's very solid as well. There's no way where the hinge will ever fail you as well. As for the slider that moves the frame forward and backwards, it's smooth as butter and has no wiggles as well. The release buttons are excellent. You really don't have to struggle removing your NVG or disassembling this frame at all. Overall, this is one of those high-quality mounts that you'll always want to have. It's very solid and has no blemishes or flaws out of the box. It's the best mount out there yet which is well worth it.
