Ecx 2wd went right in no trouble. works great I'm using a brushless motor 3800kv and these gears are holding up 🤙👍

I purchased this gear set for my 1/10th ecx torment. I upgraded my motor to a castle creations 3800kv motor with the sidewinder 4 esc which is why I wanted to upgrade from the stock plastic transmission to full metal. I first ran it on 2s for about 10 minutes without any issue. But after I ran it on 3s the transmission popped several teeth after around a solid 3-5 minutes of running tops and the car stopped moving. After looking at the metal where the teeth broke off it is clear to see that this is some cheap junky low quality metal. The metal transmission lasted just as long as the stock plastic one. So if you're looking to put a more powerful brushless motor in your rc car this is not the choice, even if you are running on 2s. This transmission really isn't any more durable than the stock plastic gears.

So I’ve had my remote control car since it came out... has been through plenty of bashing and also has a brushless upgrade. The new transmission gears did great with the 3 cell lipo battery and brushless system. But since there is a good amount of torque the gears shredded which was disappointing but it’s a hobby grade rc and I expect something too brake lol.

Fit perfectly in my ECX Boost. I recently upgraded to a brushless system and these gears have held up along with a new spur gear and pinion gear

I am very pleased with the part ,it's heavy duty ,easy to install and should hold up to my castle creations sct set up good . 2 things though ,1st I wish it was a locked diff rather thin open and 2nd I think it should come with a lil pack of grease for the gears.

Metal gears are suposed to be strong.....one tooth broke of a gear shortly after the install, so i had to pull it all back apart.

Nice upgrade I had spun the pin on the input pinion on the stock plastic and don't think I will be wearing this on out.

If you're upgrading to brushless you WILL need these gears. The stock plastic gears that come with the brushed motors will strip out in minutes after a brushlees motor is installed. This gear set seams to be of good quality and not difficult to install. Just make sure you don't loose any bearings from the old set because you'll need to use them in this set. GRRRR!

I upgraded to a Metal gear set on my ECX Amp after the original "plastic" gear set stripped out on me. These came easy to install, fit perfect and I suspect they will last much longer than the original plastic gears, good upgrade at a good price!
