Used this as part of my propex heating system in my camper van and it worked great. Paired with some Teflon tape and no leaks after a few checks with soapy water!

Metabo sent wrong brass fitting in correct box. Terrible quality control. Wasted my time and not worth returning for $3.18. Never again

I had to replace a pressure switch on my Ingersoll Rand air compressor. I located a replacement pressure switch (at about 1/4 the price of the manufacturers switch) but the fitting on the pressure switch had a 1/4" female pipe thread fitting. I purchased this reducer to adapt the 3/8" male from the compressor fitting so that I could install the pressure switch. The electrical wiring and the copper unloader line fit perfectly without any changes. The air compressor is now back in service.

Worked for what I needed it for. The threading is well machined. Good tight fit, very little thread sealant needed for compressed air.
