I ordered a large I usually like shirts a little big but this stretches a bit when wet so a medium would have worked fine. I wore this under a wet suit. I really like the built in zippered pocket

If you use this shirt for swimming be aware that the side pocket stitching inside the shirt on the right side rubs against your skin and is noticeable after awhile. I bought 4 of these and didn't look close enough at the description so didn't know about the pocket, which I don't need. Other than that I like the material, the weight, and the size. Just wish it didn't have a pocket. The pocket can't really be removed because it has a zipper.

True to size. I usually wear a Medium-Large, I’m 5’10, 160lbs, average build, and Large is perfect for a slightly loose fit.I bought this for mowing and sitting by the pool watching the kids. It feels cool to the touch, although not cooling. I still get warm while mowing, but it feels much more comfortable than cotton t-shirts, it doesn’t stick to me, and it protects my skin from the sun without needing copious amounts of sunblock on my arms and torso. I wore it all day on Independence Day and felt more comfortable with temps in the low 90s than I have in the past in cotton t-shirts.Might buy one or two more for spending time outdoors next summer so I don’t have to wash them as often.

I’m so very pleased with this SPF shirt in every aspect I will be buying more. True to size and so very soft it’s the perfect outdoor shirt. The two pockets are well concealed with zipper closure!

Shirt is nice and cool, very comfy but is heavier than I anticipated. But it wasn’t enough for me to send it back. Wore it today to cut grass. Appears to have protected my skin which was my main reason for purchase.
