So convenient and worked great for the hubby to lay on at the hospital while giving birth. I wanted to make sure he had something he could actually sleep on.

This is more than just a camping pad, it's thick enough be used as a temporary guest bed and it can also be used on a cot to make the cot more comfortable. It comes tightly vacuum packed in plastic packaging and also comes with a nice storage/carry bag and a small fleece covered memory foam pillow. It took about 24 hours to fully expand to it's full thickness. There are attached straps on the underside to keep it rolled up for storage. We're currently using it on a cot for a house guest and it makes a very comfortable temporary bed. The top of the mattress is covered in a soft fleece like fabric, the bottom has a non-slip water resistant fabric. We're very happy with this portable memory foam mattress.

As I get older it is more important to have a soft sleeping surface while camping. This sleeping pad is great. Easy to transport and use. Adds additional comfort to my cot for camping.
