I love using these sticks as a metronome to a capella singing, and as rhythm in acoustic sets. The sound is good

I bought a pair of these claves for my music classroom because the ones I had kept getting taken from me. These were relatively cheap and I didn't expect much from them. They proved me wrong though! I am able to get a loud, clear, and strong sound from them. They are a little on the smaller side, which made me think they were going to be quiet but my orchestra has no problem hearing them over their playing. If they ever fall apart, I'll definitely be buying another pair.

These have a wonderful pitch and need to be held correctly to get the full sound out of them. I mean it’s solid, yet light, higher pitched, priced right. You get a great product for the money. No need to spend anymore on a clave unless you have the money to spend and/or you are professional. Even at that point it still does a great job.

These seem to be well made and very smooth/nicely finished. Created a bright and crisp sound!

This Claves are not only affordable but the sound is great and looks good too. I'm ready to play along with my favorite salsa records! And the people who said they dent easy just don't beat them so hard go easy on them and not only you will get a good sound but a lot of milelage out of it.

Good quality, sounds good on my recordings. Claves are a very important percussion instrument and these are a fine example.

These are claves. My daughter wanted them as she was learning to play them with a rhythm teacher in school. She was asking for a set for Christmas. Then I saw the price and just bought them and gave them to her.For what they are, they are inexpensive and work really well. They can play loud and they can play soft. She loved them. Though, I can't remember the last time she actually played them.

These sound REALLY good. Perfect clave tone and they CUT. Great value in these. They might not be made of fancy material or even have a fancy finish, but they work so well that stuff REALLY doesn't matter. If you're looking for claves, stop here and purchase these. You will not be disappointed.Remember: Claves aren't held like drumsticks and banged together, hold them with your fingertips and let their weight do the work, you'll get the richest sound out of ANY clave with the proper technique. The inverse is absolutely true as well.

we use these and other rhyth. makes to have fun with music with friends and with the grand kids. they have a very nice sound and they are very solid and well made. Reminds me of the "sticks" well all played in music class in the 2nd grade many years ago. a lot of fun and anyone can use them.

Purchased these Claves for my younger granddaughter age 3 1/2 who looks wistfully on when her elder two bothers play their guitars, which they do rather well. It was hoped that she would be able to feel part of the family ensemble with these claves and then perhaps aspire to learn an instrument like her brothers. It was a successful ambition as she immediately took to the very pleasant and melodic percussion sound that is easily made by tapping the two claves together, and now feels that she has a contribution to make to and is part of the family band. In fact she has assumed the role of leader of the group - that's young girls for you and only acts as an object lesson to her brothers of the male role in society.
