Very sturdy and the multiple dual stage latches hold on tight and don't have any give to them. Foam able to be sized to whatever you have makes it pretty customizable while fitting a variety of whatever you need to stay stable and safe while in transit. Obviously built like smaller very durable pelican style cases I was surprised how strong it feels when over the larger surface areas these things tend to have major flaws but not this one.The joints feel well, the foam layers are easy to press out for sizing and storage. I didn't think much of the added wheels but it has some heft and once I sized it to some of my range day equipment it can get pretty heavy making it a welcome addition. All in all a good value compared to some of the store ones that weren't even as nice!

This is a large rifle case, suitable for longer barreled weapons. It is very stout. There are a total of 6 latches around the perimeter of the case and 4 places where locks can be used to secure the contents. The lid of the case has a foam liner that consists of the "cone" type of projections to provide cushioning and a good secure fit. The foam was loose and would not stay in the lid. (i'll probably add a couple of pieces of double-sided tape to secure it.)The bottom has two layers of pick and pluck foam and then a final thin foam layer at the very bottom. I like the two layers of pick and pluck, as it allow you to adapt the case to whatever guns or equipment you want to store in it.The handles - one top, one on the side, fold down and are held securely to the case by friction. They are large and comfortable to carry or pull the case with. The wheels turn freely and are not loud on a floor when the case is being moved. The lid is sealed with a gasket that runs the entire perimeter of the case and there is a built-in pressure relief valve on the side. The gasket on my case had a deformity, but I don't think it affects the seal - time will tell. There were three visible defects in my case: two blemishes and a scratch. I'm assuming the scratch happened during shipment, as there was some damage to the cardboard box it arrived in. Not a big deal, as I expect to add a bunch of scratches of my own through heavy use. The other two defects - which were also cosmetic, appear to be artifacts from the manufacturing process. These don't affect the function of the case, just the appearance. While I know I will be added my own blemishes and damage to the case over time, I would still prefer it arrives in pristine condition.all in all, I like the case and am pleased that I got it. If you need a rifle case, this is a worthy consideration.

If you are looking to protect your rifle or weapons, all-weather cases are hard to beat. However, is this the one that you should trust?BUILD QUALITY:First off, the build quality of this case is top-notch. Although it does carry a heavy price tag ($380), you are getting what you pay for. The case is extremely solid and well-built. The hinges, latches, and handles are tough and easy to use with no issues at all. It is reinforced in the high-impact zones, and I would think you would be hard-pressed to damage anything inside this case if packed properly.SIZE:This case is more than big enough to store your average rifle, with room to spare. It has plenty of space all around in both length and depth, so not only will it hold the main item, but any attachments as well. It also is more than big enough to store other items such as musical instruments, electronics, or collectibles.CUSTOMIZATION:It really doesn't matter how good the case is if the item inside is packed poorly. This case comes with foam that is perforated into small squares, allowing you to customize the shape however needed, solving any packing problems. I also like that the squares are smaller than others I've used, which makes it easier to be more precise.PROTECTION:Besides drops and hits, this case is also designed to protect from any elements. It has rubber seals around the main case that stop any dirt, dust, or water from making its way in. It also has a one-way pressure valve that allows the venting of any built-up pressure inside the case but stops anything from entering the other way.WHEELS:This case is pretty big, and depending on how much you load into it, it could also be heavy. So having wheels to help move it around is essential. This case comes with soft wheels that roll really nicely and help avoid marking or damaging the surface they are rolling on.CONCLUSION:I have no issue recommending this case, and if used and packed properly, it should stand up to some hefty abuse without causing any damage to what's inside. The best part is this case doesn't just need to be used for weapons. It can be used to protect any item that you want that would fit inside.WHAT I LIKED:• Very well-built• Customizable with perforated foam• Dust/Dirt/Waterproof• Comfortable handles• Soft wheels that roll well and don't mark or damage the floor• Plenty of spaceWHAT I DON'T LIKE:• Not much that I could find

I am somewhat conflicted on how I should rate and review this case. Let me start by saying that I do think that they are somewhat deceptive with their Amazon page and that has me going back and forth between three and four stars. I saw this and really wanted to update my rifle case which has seen almost thirty years of use and is just about done. While looking at their page I found a mixed message as far as the case's length, with varying numbers from 40 up to 44 inches - interestingly I now see that it looks like they have updated their page. For me what arrived was a case that was way too short for any of my rifles, even my shortest models. Luckily my son has a collection of AR rifles so we can use it with those guns. As far as the case itself, its actually one of the best cases I have ever saw! It is made with very solid plastic that will be durable enough to stand up to just about anything you can put it through. The wheels on the end are a really cool addition, and again, they are also very well made and roll nicely. There is an issue with the foam insert though that has forced my son to change out one element. The way you can pull pieces out in order to create a perfectly form fit foam is really cool. With that said, the foam on the bottom is very thin and doesn't really provide enough protection. My son was able to buy a better foam, similar to what is on the topside only slightly thinner. The final result is a hard side case that is very sturdy and will work great for his AR rifles - unfortunately however not for my long rifles. As long as you are aware going in of the points I made, I don't think you will be disappointed with the quality of the case itself. The build quality and the fact that I am certain it will last for years (decades) is what kept me from dropping it to three stars - but they do need to keep the details of size straightforward and accurate.

This is hard case number 12, one of the new version cases made by this company. Since I first used their products a few years ago, their offerings have come a long way. I got my first MEIJA case a couple of years back, and at that time, it was a new company. And it's nice to see that they have stayed in business, continually improving their offerings. While not quite on the same level as Pelican or Underwater Kinetics cases, they are darn close. I order these because the price is better than the other options without sacrificing a lot of quality. The only real difference between this case and the others is that this one has been designed to carry guns. That said, anything that is too long to fit into a standard case (won't fold down) and fits into the dimensions the seller has posted will be well protected in this case.♦ When you look at the seller's images, you can see that there are four lock points, one on each clasp. It's easy to secure the case, and locks with standard shackles work for me.♦ It is not a light case. As with the new-gen MEIJA cases, the construction and thickness of the plastic give it a fair bit of heft. I appreciate that it has rollers and a top handle for rolling the case. There is, of course, also the side handle.♦ I have no problem getting two rifles into the case with room to spare. The pluck foam allows for making two separate positions that keep the rifles separated and protected. The foam is soft enough that it does not put any pressure on a scope while protecting it.‼️ The only downside to this case is that it will not fit into the truck of most compact cars.✓ One of the most notable items with the new version is the new locking levers, which are designed differently. They have a secondary smaller lock lever located underneath the top clasp. This needs to be pulled (released) by a finger before the whole clasp can be opened up. I like this idea and have seen it in other cases. It reduces the likelihood of the clasps being opened because they catch on something while being stuffed into a truck. See the image below. Once the clasps are snapped into place, these stay closed unless I want them opened.► The water seal between the top and bottom sections makes these things virtually airtight► The rear hinge has a little resistance but operates smoothly.► As with the other cases, the pressure equalization valve is big enough to handle changes in altitude while still keeping water out.► Like all of the other MEIJA cases I have, this comes filled with foam. The top and bottom layers are about 3/4 of an inch, and everything else in between is pluck foam, so I can customize the open areas to fit the tools and instruments I store in each of the cases.► The new design handles are stiff. There is no flopping around. They stay in the folded down or upright position, and it takes a bit of force to lift or push it back down, and when laid flat (down), they snap into position.► Top and bottom panels are rigid with minimal flex.► IP67 waterproof rating.*** As for other options, I won't bother going over the inner and outer dimensions, as the seller has these shown in the description. In the distant past, the company's previous cases had issues, but as with the last ones I've recently ordered, I cannot find anything negative to say about this one. Pricing is in line with similar-sized cases from other manufacturers.► Every single one of the new cases has arrived with no sharp ridges or edges; the fit and finish are very good.As I write this review, it's selling for $299.99, which is in line with other offerings for this size. How well it can be secured and the overall quality of the case, plus the protection it provides, are in line with other offerings. As with the other new-gen cases, I cannot find anything negative worth mentioning.TitleAllows two rifles to be well protected and secured

Honestly, I was planning on knocking off stars because they shipped me a Christmas tree instead of this case. Thankfully, this was resolved and the replacement came faster than expected. Much appreciated.Overall, this is a pretty solid case. Heavy duty for sure. Definitely something you can load up to take to the range and you will feel confident in your rifle remaining protected. It isn't the most fancy I've ever seen but it gets the job done. It comes with three layers of customizable foam so you could use this with other guns or even put something else on another layer. For the price of it, would I say it's 100% worth it over a simple rifle case? That really depends on how you intend to use your rifle. If you are trekking with it into the brush and need something at a basecamp that you can lock up, definitely you want one of these. Regular going to and from ranges, only if you really love your guns and want to splurge.Either way, I'll give this a positive nod and a recommended!

I often carry a large telescope to the cottage to observe the stars. I used to put him on memory foam and blankets, but I never felt it very secure. This hard case allowed me to customize the foam inside to be sure that it is as protected as possible.Pros:- Hard case made in ABS material (robust and solid)- Waterproof and made with polymer o-ring to be well suited for outdoor applications- Easy to open (made with quality latches)- Easy and smooth rolling (made with quality polyurethane wheels)- Convoluted lid foam (soft enough to provide flexibility but also dense to provide cushion)- Adjustable foam made with layers (allows the object to hold in place and the interior of the hard case to be customized for it)- Built with a pressure valve (equalize pressure inside with the outside to prevent vacuum lock)- Constructed so that it can be locked with four padlocks (padlocks not included)- Two foldable handles, one on the length and the other on the width (transportable, easy rolling and space optimized when stored)Cons:- Heavy to carry (24.0 lbs)- Storage space required- It might be difficult to find new adjustable foam if you want to use it to carry other things once you customize it.

I love this case! I purchased it to carry trade show displays on aircraft. It's so well built with strong secure latches with places to use TSA-approved locks. The wheels and handles make it easy to take the case anywhere. Super strong all around. I am thrilled with this purchase.
