I used this bald cap for my Noho Hank Halloween costume. People didn’t even realize I was wearing a bald cap and genuinely thought I was some bald guy. The only thing I didn’t like was that the material is very delicate and it ripped a little during application. I’m not sure if I’d be able to reuse it but it’s definitely realistic looking if applied correctly.

You probably will need a bit of patience and a little skill with a steady hand, but otherwise what a fun kit! I so enjoyed being a tigress for Halloween!!! I think the only thing I really struggled with was the setting of the paints (application of the powder), but I must not of done too bad as it wasn’t smeary after a night out and some serious dancing!!

This was a very good bald cap. I could’ve done better with the edges, I was rushing a little so it could have looked even better but overall, great cap. It was pretty easy to follow.

Kit came with all parts listed.Instructions are very detailed and I didn't have any issues applying the cap. Leave a good 2 hours for this process as cutting the cap to the right size can take a while.I ended up using a full coverage matte foundation instead of the colour palette which didn't seem to work as well for me.

Ahhh imagine you have all your stuff laid out and ready to start your pinhead costume. You open up your bald cap to find the spirit gum and latex are completely dried out.... when seemingly unopenedLuckily I had pros aide

The glue was dry. Spread like thick boogers. My toddler said it felt like snot. Basically unable to attach to the skin without huge nasty lumps. $32 down the drain, unreturnable. Attempting to get a refund, but return options are sending me in circles.

Needed makeup to be the Joker for a comic book party and this product delivered. The spirit gum that they provide to build up "scarring" looks superb but is lost a bit once you apply the rest of the makeup. The green hair dye is very runny and the nail polish applicator they give you is...a choice. You'd be better served just dumping the dye into your palms and running it through your damp hair--and I do stress damp hair, as dry hair won't take the color very well.The white makeup just needs a little bit of moisture (I used a water spray bottle) and then it applies very well. The black goes on very strong, so be careful where you apply, otherwise you'll have to wipe it off and redo it. The black pencil liner included helps to get those runny line looks, but I also used a q-tip. The red is a bit on the maroon side rather than striking red, so I blended a bit of black and white here and there to make the color pop more.The green dye came right out in the shower, the white required a little scrubbing, and I had to use a makeup removal wipe for the black. The red mostly came off but 2 days later, it is still faintly present only in the areas where the spirit gum scar makeup was, so mixing those 2 products makes the red stain a little longer.They provided enough of everything to use several times for multiple applications and I'll be saving it for next Halloween, for sure.

Nice large cakes of color, easy to apply to brush and face, and cleans off really nicely once it's time to remove. Very satisfied

Admittedly, calling this a "professional" kit is a bit of a stretch. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the materials, but professionals are going to work with more and more advanced materials and techniques than those included here (including, for instance, airbrushes and foam latex prosthetic appliances). However, this is a great introductory kit for a beginner just getting started with special effects makeup.The quality of the materials is quite good, and it's all reasonably easy to use. As you can see in the photos, even as a complete amateur, I think I was able to achieve good results using this kit. The only effect I added that wasn't included in the kit was that I blackened my mouth using a black substance made by mixing all the colors of food coloring into a cup of mouthwash.The makeup included provides a good selection of colors perfect for zombies or for other wounds. It's a good quality material and supplied in sufficient quantity to make several zombies. It also comes with liquid latex in a color that closely matches the "zombie flesh" color of makeup, which is quite helpful, and also supplied in sufficient quantities for several zombies.The fake blood included has a great color and is a non-toxic mixture. It's a little on the thick side for my taste, but I certainly had no problem using it in small quantities to create little blood drips from wounds, and particularly to add some color to the lips.The only included material I didn't particularly like was the "extra flesh" wax material. I found it just too soft to be very useful (and fairly messy to boot). That's not to say you can't make it work (particularly in small quantities), but I'd personally opt for different materials.Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase. For someone like me--a beginning hobbyist in the special effects makeup world, but one with high standards--it was the perfect set to complete one of my projects.
