I had high hopes for this unit since the price point is much more reasonable. Unfortunately, the hose connector is a bit too loose when connected to my CPAP machine's hose. It connects directly to it without the skinnier hose, but it started to leak air just after a few days of use. Your situation may be different, but I had to return mine.

Fabric too thick to easily fit in either slot so the "velcro" gets rubbed by the plastic & thinned or I have to struggle & twist it to prevent undoing the "velcro." The part that "grabs" the plastic frame that holds the mask pops off all the time without a need to squeeze it to release. I lose both my air pressure and oxygen when this happens. It is tight, tough, hard to unhook, hard to fit. I bought it FOR those qualities as opposed to the flimsy quickly worn out brand name headgear. The brand name one is $10 MORE so I can't decide which is worse. I am too poor to keep replacing in between the times the insurance will cover it. But this is just too stiff & thick as to be uncomfortable.

I've been fighting with my older mask for a while and I went on Amazon originally looking for just a headgear replacement. When I stumbled on this, I decided to give it a try. So far, It has been used two nights. I am really impressed with the comfort and ease of the headgear. Ive always fought with the old style and constantly had to readjust or keep it really tight. Not the case with this one. The frame assembly attaches easily to the standard tube instead of having the short tube attachment. It swivels around very easily as well. All parts detach for easily cleaning (which always was an issue in the old style). If the velcro holds up like advertised, this is an overall huge improvement to the original.Update: after using this mask for a while I'm actually sad to report that the velcro is already failing. The frame assembly is still great, fit is great, it definitely does not have stronger velcro though. Maybe even worse. Dang it.
