I was kind of hesitant changing my washing machine boot seal but since I'm replacing the drain pump, might as well change some parts that I can change while my washer was out of the laundry area. It functions really well as the original part and looks the same. Price was really cheap compared to OEM and it fits like a glove! So far I haven't had any leaks after two loads. The pliers that came with the boot really helped and I recommend using one or you can't really change the boot seal. The rear boot clamp was a pain in the butt to put back because I didn't really remove the top and front housing but being patient will get it done. Transferring the stuff thats connected to the boot seal was fairly easy and the front spring tension clamp was easy to put back. I do recommend this product and you'll be surprise how nasty your old boot seal and you'll be glad that you changed it!

Loved that this gasket was 1/2 the price of the OEM gasket. Also, the tool worked perfectly, and was included, as opposed to spending $70 for the tool online. One note: this tool requires you to expand that inner and outer springs, as opposed to other tools which require to contract the spring. Still works fine.

When received it was great! After install I noticed that one of the plugged holes had been cut out. I fixed it myself instead of waiting for a new one.

I do think the original might be *slightly* thicker, but it fit like a glove. You have to be pretty strong or forceful to get everything re attached.The tool that comes with it is fantastic.This shouldโve been a $150-$175 repair with tools and it was $56

Seal was correct item. Went to remove factory spring with tool provided in kit and tool immediately snapped in half. Was putting very little pressure on the tool when it failed. JUNK!
