This little plastics rocks! Never listen to the negative reviews. They just dont know what theyre doing. This add on diffuses the harsh light from that small built in flash and removing the shadows of the UWA lenses by pointing it up. Very cool addition.

The diffusers are made with good plastic and fiber. Easy to interchange and seems very durable. I have taken 6 photos for comparison, one each with no flash, with camera flash, with blue diffuser, orange diffuser, white diffuser and colorless diffuser. Photos taken in Sony a6000 with the 16-50 mm kit lens. While the white and colorless diffusers did not have much of a difference. These diffusers came very handy while using with bigger lens 18-105mm where the camera flash leaves a shadow in the lower part of the image. Overall, very pleased with the quality and cost, more so with the ease and usefulness of the product.

They made the hinged hood in black which absorbs light, not good with cameras that have pop-up flashes that are not powerful to begin with. When the flash pops up in position it lays against a very thin wedge of the diffuser and results in a weak effect from the diffuser - almost as if it is not there, it seems to miss the effect of the product and what it is supposed to do. I didn't notice it in the product photos before I purchased but you can see it.

This little gadget works decently well. There's a noticeable softer and more natural lighting when using flash, which also allows you to increase your shutter speed in dimly lit rooms. The little black flap seems pointless as I didn't notice much of a difference. If it's supposed to be a bounce mechanism, black is not the right color for that as it just absorbs the flash light. On my clear diffuser, the flap came broken, but I suppose it doesn't really matter. What would be nice is if these things were collapsible allowing for quick storage in a camera bag. As they stand now, they would easily break off or damage your hot shoe if you just stuffed it into a bag. If that's not an option, they could be quite a bit smaller and still have the same effect. It stands about 1.5 inches off my A6300 I'd say this set is not worth more than $10 bucks for 4 pieces of plastic. I do appreciate the design effort that went in to creating them, however they could be improved significantly for this price point.

I love these things! Can't beat the price either. They're neat and simple for those trying to get that soft pro look in dim lighting. I work for a museum and take photos of our Members at every opening night with my Sonya6000. Beats having to carry around extra lighting and these things can easily fit in your pocket! I mainly use the clear one or all white one.Hopes this helps!
