It is an odd install, just bending tabs back, sliding in the flap, and then pinching down the metal tabs, but that seems the only way to do it on our edger. Glad I put it on, because I feel a bit safer with it on there.

My McLane edger needed a replacement. It’s a bit tricky to install, but does the job. Just wish they’d last longer.

Perfect, installs pretty easily. Tap our tines down well and it will hold. Boy, was my old one falling apart, AND DIRTY!!! When I needed to replace this before, the only way was to replace the whole bracket... 50.00. For 10 bucks... WOW.

I had no problem installing these. Bent the prongs to fit and then put in vise to close/tighten. No issues with comming lose.

I did not use it because it was too thick for my edger. I did buy the right thickness neoprene and cut my own which works great.
