Perfect gasket from a great dealer in Arizona. This gasket is genuine Mazda at a great price. My water pump came with paper gaskets and I wanted the metal original equipment type and this is exactly that.

I have replaced water pumps on Miatas multiple times. Save yourself the trouble and splurge on this genuine part. The generic felt gaskets included with low-cost water pumps tear or fold very easily during installation, necessitating a lot of extra work if you don't catch the mistake before putting everything back together.This Mazda part is made of a thicker plastic material that is rigid enough to easily stay on the water pump during installation without mishaps.In short, I highly recommend this part.
