Used this during a move. It was a bit roomy for a Queen, which I'd prefer over being too tight. It has a total of 8 handles, so you have options when carrying. The zipper goes around 3 sides, short-long-short, and you open it like a book, along the fourth long side. Didn't rip, took the move like a champ.I got this for free through Amazon Vine.

This mattress bag comes in packaging that can be resealed with tape if needed. The plastic itself is approximately 0.2mm thick, providing a decent level of durability. The zipper is well-made, featuring two zippers that allow it to be opened and closed from either direction.While the stock photos indicate that it accommodates mattresses up to 15" (38cm) deep, the one I received fit a mattress of approximately 13.75" (35cm) deep. The handles are sturdy, reinforced with strong stitching, making it easier to carry. Once done using, I found it best to fold the bag back up and store it in a tote.Overall, this is a well-constructed mattress bag with a strong zipper and durable handles, though the depth may be slightly less than advertised.

We do have a professional moving company to move us, and they do provide free storage bags. The problem for us is that these bags are used over and over. I asked the company if they sterilize the bags between each client use and he confirmed that they do not. Yikes! Who knows what lives on other people's beds! We will store our bed for about three months and then have the moving company deliver to our new residence. This bag is built well, has nice hand grips on the side and will protect our bed well.
