Installed easily using only the included hardware on my 23 RG. The top bolts are easy, as the frame is pre-tapped. Bottom bolts require the included nuts. For the left side I would advise placing the bottom bolt, washer, and nut first. Then do the top. For the upper bolts, one plug wire loom on each side has to be pulled out to expose the pre-tapped hole. Simply tuck the wire into the clamp on the heat shield. Whole process took about 15 minutes, including removing both saddlebags and side covers. Since I’ve only just installed these, I can’t speak to the long term durability, but they look OEM. Don’t forget your blue Locktite.

Not as simple to install as you would think. Some mentioned the pre-drilled holes don't line up. Mine didn't either because the plug wire tie-downs were in the way. I cut out small pieces of the shields to accommodate the tie-downs. Also, the hardware SHOULD include lock-washers but it doesn't. Used blue thread-lock and found some small lock-washers in my parts bin. Also strange, the bolt is 10mm head, the nut is 7/16". Have fun getting your hand and fingers behind the HD lower mounting plates. I loosened the left side fuse panel so I could get to the back of the plate (2020 RGS).

Junk...... do not purchase.... both pieces had holes in them, defeating the purpose of what they are intended for....... I just threw them in the trash and ordered a set from another Amazon seller which were perfect!!!!

I was literally suicidal before I got these. I don’t know what I could do. The way the air wasn’t being deflected had me at the very end - I was lost. I was an empty vessel. Then - thank the Great Spaghetti Monster - I came across these wind deflectors. I knew immediately. These would deflect the wind and they were matte grey! Oh Pastafarian God of my understanding thank you. I have reason to live again. I thank you and so does my chubby inner thigh.
