Replaced a few valve cores using this tool. Great idea, good quality. However, it takes some fiddling to get it right. I spent half hour trying to do each replacement. You need to size up the tool with the valve core before you start. If the tool can't "grab" the valve core after loosening, you won't get the core up and into the tool. Just be warned before trying to use it.

This AMAZING tool makes swapping out a leaking automotive A/C Valve core a breeze, with little to no freon loss. It’s super easy to use and feels really well-made—definitely built to last. I was impressed by how quickly and smoothly it got the job done. If you need to swap out a valve core this really beats having to evacuate the system, swap out the valve cores, vacuum the system and refill the system with freon. Highly recommend it for anyone in the trade or just tackling some DIY projects.

This tool made for all kind of valve core change including F150 M10 valve core.But the tool has defects for M10 valve.The tip of the eaton valve tool is too long. So when you need to close the valve of the tool after pulled the core , you can not close it.So I cut the tip of the tool and made the slut dipper.Now there is no problem.It has a oring inside the tool, so it will hold the core.

Used it once and it worked great on my 2006 Jeep. I called a local shop prior to buying the tool and was told it would take 3 hours ($400) to remove R134A, replace valve, vacuum system and charge. This tool saved me money and time. Will probably only use it once.

I purchased this set to replace the high side Schrader valve in my 2012 Super Duty, the only stem I really needed was the 10mm but it didn’t cost that much more for the entire set, I assembled as instructed and proceeded to remove the leaking Schrader valve following the instructions, the old waive came out into the tool valve body below the cutoff valve so after several failed attempts I screwed the old valve back in under system pressure tightened it and removed the tool from the high pressure port and tried to put the new 10mm Schrader valve through the cutoff valve body and it would not go, further inspection revealed that the o ring between the cutoff valve and the high pressure adapter was too thick and when compressed it protruded into the opening where the Schrader valve needs to pass, I called customer service for advice but they have not had this problem before, they said to return it and they would examine it, instead I got out a set of hydraulic o rings and found one slightly smaller in diameter and about half as thick and compressed it in place between toe valve body and the high pressure adapter reinstalled the tooling on the high pressure port and it worked as advertised, the 10mm is the largest stem in the set if I was using any of the others it would have worked without fault but as received it will not work on 10mm. The tool is very well made with no leaking anywhere, with normal use it should last for generations , anyone with a leaking Schrader valve that hasn’t lost all the system pressure will be happy with the results.

High side charge port valve core on my 2007 Honda Odyssey was leaking and needed to be replaced. This tool worked perfectly without losing an ounce of refrigerant. While I was at it I decided to replace the low side valve core since it was 17 years old as well but wasn’t leaking - yet. Simple to use. Highly recommend.

Bought this to replace my AC valve core on a BMW e46. DO NOT PURCHASEThe design of this product is flawed. The shut off valve portion of the product is to small to remove the valve core and be able to shut it off. The valve core gets stuck between the shut off valve ball. Doesn't matter which tool in the bunch you use, they're all flawed. I was forced by the poor design of this tool to UNKNOWINGLY let a lot of freon out into the air. (CALL THE EPA haha)Not only that but the design is flawed in reinstalling a new valve core as well. When playing the new core inside the upper part of the shut off, the plunge tool won't thread all the way in to seal. I was forced once again by the poor design of this product into UNKNOWINGLY letting freon into the air to get the valve core installed.All in all it cost me about 40 dollars worth of freon. Thankfully I did not get any air inside my system. This product is poorly designed and useless DO NOT PURCHASE.

This worked great and saved me the time and money of having to do a complete evac of the HVAC system. The build quality of this kit is a lot better than most of the other ones out there. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends that do this type of work.The thing that I recommend is to do a practice run with the replacement valve stem so that you get a feel for how it works. That way you can also make sure that the stem will clear before you remove the old stem.When you do remove the stem make sure that you have a firm grip on the handle of the tool because the pressure will build in the chamber and push the tool back. If this happens don't panic because more than likely the stem is still in place at the bottom and you just need to push the tool back down and get it to line back up with the stem so that you can finish unthreading it. Once the stem is loose slowly let the tool raise up and then shut the ball valve and you should have the old stem so that the new one can be put back in.Also for people that say that this doesn't work with Ford's high pressure stem it most certainly does but I will say that the capture chamber (the space between the ball valve and the stem removal tool) is just a little close for comfort on being able to close the ball valve. Which would be the only complaint that I have for this kit. What you need to do is use the second biggest tool because it will hold the stem without dropping it and that tool is just short enough to allow the ball valve to shut. If you try to use the biggest one it won't hold the stem and the ball valve won't be able to close.

En esta ocasión me encuentro completamente decepcionado debido a que me llegó un kit aparentemente usado, con una pieza dañada, varias piezas manchadas, evidentemente de aceite con tinta fluorescente, muy comúnmente utilizado en a/c automotriz y sin instructivo. Es la primera ocacion que m pasa al comprar en amazon ya que todo lo que en comprado m e sentido satisfecho, en este momento m encuentro investigando para realizar el cambio de la pieza, que para mi seria lo más viable ya que es una herramienta buena. Que mal que pasen este tipo de situaciones .
