With less than 3000 miles my reverse motor quit. Pulled it apart and found the brushes stuck from getting too hot. Right from the HD factory they installed a reverse motor that had grease on the brushes. The grease caused a high resistance causing the carbon brushes to get hot and swell. In less than 2 hours I install the brushes and if I took it to a Harley dealer I would be without a bike for up to a week. Paying $20 and doing it myself was way better than using their warranty. And I know 100% that there is no grease on the brushes like what came from the Harley Davidson factory. This is a simple fix if you have mechanical aptitude.
