I bought these to replace the standard shocks on my Roadrunner Pro. These are much nicer, stronger and have the ability to be adjusted. I'd say it raised my bike a 1/2"-3/4" and has a bit more cush to it. Definitely looks better. Now that it's installed I'm thinking I should've purchased the Black with Red instead of Silver and Red, but either way for the money and benefit I have no regrets.

I used a set of these on a trailer that weighed **at most** 350 pounds. Even with the spring adjustment cranked all the way down, the suspension bottomed out by pressing down on it with one finger. I pumped quite a bit of air into the reservoir to firm up the dampening, didn't seem to make any difference. The anodized color on the adjuster rings got marred up on the first twist, even using the wrench they provided.

Surprisingly well made shocks ,for the price not sure if you would find anything better IMO. Put these on a modded megamoto 212 ,work perfect! Highly recommend

Used on a 1981 XR80They fit nicely but are much larger diameter than stock. My exaust was totaled so I had to make a new one and it was very dificult to get around it.I doubt these would fit a stock exaust setup.other than this they were 100% good. Far better than the price would lead you to think they were.

Externally they look good. The set I received had no pressure in one of the bladders. I removed the springs and found that both shocks obviously had air in them. I opened them and found swarf in one. Other than oil quantity and debris they looked good inside. The shim stack is serviceable. Filled them with 10wt and charged to 75-ish PSI. They're actually pretty nice when assembled correctly. I guess that mine slipped through the cracks at quality control.

I have not installed on my motorcycle yet. Just received shocks yesterday and I have not finished the fabrication & welding. Yet, allow me to speak of the delivery time: Exceptional, Superior, weeks in advance of scheduled delivery time. Very pleased! I give 10 stars for the delivery time. Great Seller! Company of their word! Thank You Mallofusa! The SR500 is roadworthy now. I have some electric work to do & some additional paint work. Maybe this month. I try to ride as often as my body allows. All motorcycles are "kit bikes" (strip, add, replace, motor performance, all the modifications to make the bike your own). In my case, it's a never ending pursuit.

They came with no nitrogen or air in the bladder at all (didn't even show up on the gauge). You can fill them with air as well so buy a $35 amazon shock pump and fill them up. They should have no less than 85 psi and up to 200 psi.Put them on a 1981 Yamaha SR250 and they feel good, better than stock. I will update when I get to go on a proper ride.

Shocks seem okay , but packaging was in horrible shape. The spanner wrenches were missing, as were the bushings.

They are a direct fit onto a 1974 DT100. I should imagine that they would fit the entire line up of Yamaha DT’s ride height was restored and shocks seem quite firm even fo a heavier rider. Although these shocks look far from stock and original they look pretty good. Shocks also come in a multitude of anodized colors which should match most bikes
